Music – Poor Little Fool Music

John Pepin is a Michigan-based Americana and roots rock-n-roll musician, songwriter, and producer. He often records under the stage name Johnny Wigwag.

He has been writing songs for decades but has most recently focused on learning how to bring his compositions to life through a home recording studio.

He has worked, individually and through various collaborations, on sync music for television, movies, and commercials. He also continues to pursue writing songs for recording artists.

He has attended Ellis Paul’s New England Songwriters Retreat and small songwriting intensive sessions with Jayhawks singer and songwriter Gary Louris. He has also taken numerous classes at the Old Town School of Folk Music in Chicago.

Pepin’s influences are many and wide-ranging, as he is a student and lover of all kinds of music, from early rockabilly, pop, and garage rock to traditional country, bluegrass, blues, folk, and classic rock.

He loves the Rickenbacker guitar sound and the surf and twang textures of the 1960s. Johnny Wigwag & The Truthseekers music is available to hear, purchase and download from various popular music platforms.
